Making Pretzels

In the weekend I made pretzels with my family.  First we made the dough. Then we made them into the shapes.  Next we soaked them in water for 10 seconds and put them in the oven. Once they had cooled down we ate them, they were very chewy.

For this task I worked with Maia. We found it very easy to do. We work together so it is faster even though lockdown.

For this task I we compered a white rhino to a african bush elephant. I worked with Lara.

Areas and Perimeters

 

For this maths task we solved some area and perimeter equations. I found it a bit hard at the start in the end it was easy. At the very bottom of the worksheet there was some equations they where very easy to do.

Social Well Being Video summery

 In this video it talks about different ways to  be  social and that it is important in life. If you were not social then you might  not do as much exercise as if you were so social then you would tend to do more exercise and drink more alcohol and some less social do not get as much sleep.

No girls allowed Text summery

 In the book Riley is in a rugby team which is all boys and she is the only girl.  One day at training her coach told her she won't be able to play in the upcoming tournament because she was a girl.  Her teammates were shocked. “She's our best player,'' they said, “it's not right.”   Finally the tournament organisers said that Riley could play but even if her team won it wouldn't  their score wouldn't count.  Her team ended up only winning one game in the tournament anyway.

Cybersmart Task

 Cybersmart Task

The Great pyramid of Giza is in Egypt.  It is the oldest of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World, and the only one to remain largely intact.  The Great Pyramid was built by quarrying an estimated 2.3 million large blocks weighing 6 million tonnes total. The majority of stones are not uniform in size or shape and are only roughly dressed. The outside layers were bound together by mortar. Primarily local limestone from the Giza Plateau was used. Other blocks were imported by boat down the Nile: White limestone from Tura for the casing, and granite blocks from Aswan, weighing up to 80 tonnes, for the King's Chamber structure.   Egypt is 16,317 km away from New Zealand. 

For this task I went on google earth and found one of the 7 wonders of the world. I got my information from Wikipedia.

For this writing task we made a copy of this slide show  that our teacher had made. On the slide show that our teacher had made there was some stamints like You’ve got to be kidding me. we had to make a rhetorical question.

Turn Abouts Maths Task

 

For this task we solved some maths problems.We changed the order of the numbers to make the problems easier. I worked with Moe and Lara. We all struggled with the 7 times table. The word problems were really easy.

For this task this we made a google slide presentation and screenshot the maths questions and put them on the google slide.

For this task we looked at the image and estimate how many litres the bucket,tub or milk bottle could fit.

For this task we created a screencastify on how to solve times tables.

At maths time we created a slide show that had the times tables from 1s to 12s.

Olympic Skateboarding

 

For this task we watched a video from one sport one minute on a sport of our choice. Then we did some writing about what is the sport and the sport history the sport my sport is skateboarding.

For this task I had to answer and write number sentences. The task was from ARBs. We screenshoted our work then put textboxs to add the writing.
